Narragansett Beer and Del’s Frozen Lemonade are teaming up once again to release the new Del’s Variety Pack. The limited-edition 12-pack will feature the long-awaited return of fan favorite Del’s Black Cherry Shandy alongside summertime classics Del’s Lemon Shandy and Del’s Watermelon Shandy.
Making its original debut in 2015, Del’s Black Cherry Shandy features fruit-forward flavors. Now boasting an updated recipe, this brew provides the tart but sweet refreshment of black cherries with a malty flavor, the company says.
Alongside the classic Lemon Shandy and Watermelon Shandy, Del’s Black Cherry Shandy rejoins Narragansett’s “Hi Neighbor Mash Up” series as the latest collaboration between the two New England summer staples. Each beer offers fruity, light, and effervescent flavors.
“Sumer is such a special time in New England ― full of backyard barbecues and beach days,” said Mark Hellendrung, president of Narragansett Beer, in a statement. “We wanted to honor the love our fans have for the staple Lemon and Watermelon flavors that Del’s offers as well as bring back another classic, the Black Cherry Shandy. Our Del’s Variety Pack makes it easier than ever to keep the fun going this summer with all your favorite Shandy flavors in one box.”
At 4.7% ABV, each Shandy in this collection is a crisp, sessionable beer. Del’s Black Cherry Shandy is available in six-packs for a suggested market price range of $10.99-$11.99), and in the variety pack of 12-ounce cans alongside Del’s Lemon Shandy and Del’s Watermelon Shandy for a suggested market price range of $16.99-$18.99. The Del’s Variety Pack and siz-pack of Del’s Black Cherry Shandy will be distributed throughout the Eastern Seaboard from North Carolina to Maine, as well as in Kentucky and Ohio beginning March 2022.
