The new Kookie Monster brew is an 8% Double Milk Stout brewed with vanilla beans, cocoa nibs and brown sugar, the company notes. The process of creating this double milk stout starts with Firestone Walker's signature milk stout base, followed by the addition of roasted malts to accentuate dark chocolate flavors and then a combination of dark brown sugar and milk sugar in the kettle to bring out rich molasses notes, the company says. To finish things off, the beer is conditioned with Madagascar bourbon vanilla beans and Ghana origin cocoa nibs for the perfect intoxicating mix of decadent cookie flavors, it adds.
