Deschutes Brewery announced the newest release of Squeezy Rider West Coast India Pale Ale (IPA). Squeezy Rider utilizes Strata hops, developed by Indie Hops and Oregon State University, that bring big tropical juice character, the company says. In addition to Strata hops, the 7 percent alcohol-by-volume beer contain Cascade, Mosaic and Galaxy hops as well as 2 Row, Wheat and Munich malts. Squeezy Rider, available in six-packs of 12-ounce cans and on draft, will selectively make its debut across the Pacific Northwest and other select markets before expanding to Deschutes 36-state network. Initial states include Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Alaska, Northern California and Minnesota. Squeezy Rider also will be found in the new Variety 12-Pack releasing this month.
