Toyota Material Handling offers ergonomic joystick to optimize productivity
Lift and tilt handled simultaneously with EZ Control Joystick

Toyota Material Handling announced the release of its new EZ Control Joystick, which optimizes productivity for its electric forklifts by placing the hydraulic controls into a single intuitive feature. The durable ISO-style joystick features an ergonomic design, intuitive axis-based pivot and strategic button placement, the company says. The redesigned joystick features multi-function capabilities and enables forklift operators to minimize downtime and increase productivity by allowing workers to control all the necessary functions outside of braking and travel. The built-in controls on the side of the armrest enhance comfort and functionality and enables the use of two functions at once, such as lift and tilt, it says. Other features include a travel direction switch with an option to add a steering column-mounted directional switch; lift and lower forks, along with a forward and backward tilt; two auxiliary controls for use as a side shift or as a fork position; auto fork leveling; and a horn button.
