Olympia Distilling Co., a division of Pabst Brewing Co., announced the launch of Olympia Artesian Vodka. Distilled and bottled in Tumwater, Wash., Olympia Artesian Vodka is produced and bottled locally using the artesian water aquifer located beneath the town of Olympia, Wash. As the water used to make the vodka passes through layers of bedrock on its way to the aquifer, it undergoes a process of natural filtration, while collecting various minerals and electrolytes, the company says. With a 40 percent alcohol by volume, Olympia Artesian Vodka is packaged in 750-ml bottles and has a suggested retail price of $26.99.
