On the hunt for products that can improve rotary filling systems for liquids, Fogg Filler released its latest improvement: a new capping spindle assembly. Designed for Fogg's 700 Series capper, the new spindle assemblies are smaller and lighter weight, making them easier to handle and replace, the company says. In addition to a new design and bearings, the new assembly features a one-piece cam follower to replace the old three-piece cam follower. In the past, a replacement would mean purchasing a new shaft, spacer and cam follower. However, the new, more compact capping spindle is easily removeable and replaceable and increases functionality because the new unit allows for two additional spindles on the capper to increase speed and efficiency.
