Apothic Wines announced its first foray into varietal wines with a limited-edition release of 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon. As an integral varietal in the Apothic Red Blend, Apothic selected Cabernet but with its own spin. Winemaker Deb Juergenson created a fruit-forward Cabernet with a silky finish, the company says. With a suggested retail price of $10.99 a bottle, the wine will be available briefly in stores nationwide until the bottles sell out.
