Rosh Pina, Israel-based Wine Water Ltd.'s O.Vine branded wine grape-infused waters are now available in full-size, 700-ml bottles. They arrive in time to serve the burgeoning "sober curious" movement, it says.
The new, larger bottles of the startup's exclusive non-alcohol beverage will be launched in the United States, at health food retailers, as a menu feature in high-end restaurants and hotels. The startup will launch the new line at Natural Products Expo West, March 3-7 in Anaheim, Calif.
Wine Water currently serves its portfolio of single serve 350-ml bottles designed to be enjoyed at home or social gathering. It currently serve the upscale U.S. food retail sector under a national marketing contract with UNFI, a world-leading natural food distributer. O. Vine also is available in selected natural food stores as well as on Amazon.
"We have noted a drop in wine sales this year and the US consumer market of alcohol drinkers is evolving. They are more health conscious, sophisticated and sobering up somewhat and zero-booze bars are popping up across the country," said Anat Levi, chief executive officer and founder of Wine Water, in a statement. "Americans are expressing a desire for specialty crafted beverages that can gives the same experience of enjoying an adult beverage but with a wellness and sustainable twist. It is a gap in the market that has long awaited to be filled and O.vine does that."
