Citromax Flavors Inc. launched a new line of lemonade bases, which were showcased at Flavorcon 2019. They were offered in three varieties: Lemon Lime Lemonade, Hibiscus Lemonade and White Peach Lemonade. Because the lemons are processed the day they are picked, the bases offer optimal freshness, the company says. To ensure quality and taste, Citromax has implemented vertically integrated planting, harvesting and processing capabilities, it explains. By eliminating many of the time-consuming and labor-intensive practices commonly associated with making lemonade bases, Citromax can save beverage manufacturers time while gaining cost efficiencies, it states. The bases are supplied ready-to-use, requiring only the addition of a sweetener and water.
