At Pack Expo in Las Vegas, Universal Robots USA Inc. presented its comprehensive portfolio of cobot offerings. The company highlighted a new fully automated packaging line with four cobots that were randomly picking from moving conveyors and filling backpacks with food for at-risk youth. The booth also featured interactive demos, free robot training sessions, innovative palletizing solutions and a new customer service program, the company says. The company also assisted manufacturers wanting to kick-start their cobot-assisted packaging applications by offering free one-hour training sessions hosted by UR’s certified product trainers in a dedicated classroom at the show. Also debuting at the tradeshow was a new rapid response service program: Service360 Now. The program facilitates direct access to cobot specialists so that any cobot-related issues quickly can be solved, enabling uninterrupted uptime through a 24/7 online Customer Portal with the ability to dispatch on-site UR experts within hours.
