Stella Artois, a brand of Anheuser-Busch InBev, Leuven, Belgium, announced it is dethroning the OG red party cup and making summer parties a little more stylish by introducing the Red Stella Cup, it says.
Whether fans are sipping poolside with friends or enjoying long summer nights, the beer brand invites fans to upgrade their party cup game with the new Red Stella Cup. The first 1,000 legal-drinking-age U.S. consumers (with the exception of Alabama, Arkansas, California and Texas) who visit stellaartois.com/RedStellaCup can win a free six-pack of the chalice-shaped cups, the company says. The offer ends July 15, or until all prizes have been awarded, it adds.
“This summer, we're all about empowering our consumers to enjoy everyday moments just as much as they would on vacation, and nothing says 'vacation' more than time spent enjoying the outdoors with friends and family," said Peter Van Overstraeten, vice president of premium and super premium brands at Anheuser-Busch, in a statement. "That's why we decided to make the Red Stella Cup, the summer upgrade we all deserve. Quality beer in a quality party cup perfect for the outdoors — what's not to love?"
Consumers also can purchase Red Stella Cups, which retail for $10 for a six-pack, or a full party pack of 24 retails for $30 on the company’s website.
Stella Artois invites consumers to share their best moments of Red Stella Cups in action on social media by using @StellaArtois and hashtag #RedStellaCup.
