Pfannenberg USA introduced the Kinetic System, which is designed to cool electrical enclosures. The system out-performs conventional health exchangers by using cooler ambient temperatures to cool warmer electrical enclosures, the company says. The air-to-air technology works especially well in harsh, dusty, oily and dirty conditions when closed-loop cooling is required. The technology uses about one-third of the power of a traditional industrial AC unit, it explains. Designed for indoor, outdoor, remote and washdown applications that require a closed loop system to protect electronics, the PKS Series air-to-air heat exchanges are available in six configurations:  22-, 45-, 64-, 100-, 150- and 180-watts per Celsius degrees. The system enables companies to reduce the energy, maintenance and footprint associated with traditional enclosure cooling units, it says.
