Fairport Beverage Co. launched its first proprietary formula, New England-style BuchaBeer, called Crown Jewel. The malt beverage combines a light and refreshing Belgian wheat-based brew containing hints of citrus and peach with a proprietary, probiotic-powered kombucha fermented tea blend, the company says. Available on-tap and in 12-ounce cans, Crown Jewel features a 4.1 percent alcohol-by-volume content.
