At Pack Expo in Chicago, Rite-Hite Corp. will debut new FasTrax doors designed to operate at speeds of 100 inches per second, minimizing air intrusion while maximizing productivity. The high operating speeds decrease the likelihood of forklift collisions, however, if impacted, the auto re-feed feature on FasTrax doors allows the door to re-feed itself back into the door track without human intervention, the company says. One of the safest doors in the industry, FasTrax features including Soft Break-Away Technology, Soft-Edge Technology and thru-beam photo eyes. The versatile track design allows the door curtain to be stored in multiple track configurations, making it unique from other roll up doors, the company says. FasTrax can be used in a variety of applications including wash-down, high-wind and cooler or freezer high-cycle applications with less costly building modifications, it adds.
