Minnesota’s consumer-owned brewery Fair State Brewing Cooperative announced the release of Vienna Lager in cans. The brewery’s interpretation of the classic Vienna lager is a malty, approachable beer, the company says. At 5.3 percent alcohol by volume and 25 International Bitterness Units, the Vienna Lager is a pale amber in color, medium bodied and ever-so-slightly toasty from Munich and Vienna malts, with an herbal hop nose, it says. The craft beer will be available year-round in four-packs of 16-ounce cans in select liquor stores across Minnesota.
