In the spirit of the tradition of lagers brewed in California, Napa Smith brewed a beer inspired by the Napa River headwaters of Mt. Saint Helena to the Carquinez Strait, the company says. Brewed with heritage grains and West Coast hopping, Napa Smith’s California Lager features resinous notes of pine and citrus, built around a nuanced bread-like almond malt profile, it adds. Available nationwide, the beer is packaged in 12-packs of 16-ounce cans and six-packs of 11.2-ounce bottles, which retail for $7.99 and $9.99, respectively.
