Austin Hope, a brand of Hope Family Wines, introduced 2015 Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon, the first Cabernet Sauvignon released by the brand. The red wine features a deep ruby color with aromas of freshly picked black currants, ripe black cherries and blackberries, with subtle notes of violets, mocha and dried spices, the company says. On the palate, the wine is layered with juicy blackberry and cherry fruit, while nuances of cedar, clove, nutmeg and vanilla bean round out a long, smooth finish, it adds. At 15 percent alcohol by volume, 2015 Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon is packaged in 750-ml bottles that have a suggested retail price of $50 nationwide.
