NuZee Inc. (d/b/a/ Coffee Blenders) announced a new line of ready-to-drink (RTD) gourmet, functional cold-brew coffees. The product line initially is available at independent retailers and convenience stores throughout Southern California, with a national roll-out expected within the next six to 12 months, the company says. Packaged in 10-ounce, glass bottles, Coffee Blenders’ line of RTD cold-brew coffee blends 100 percent Arabica dark roast Honduran coffee with clinically supported nutraceuticals designed to provide health benefits, it says. The line includes four functional varietals: Active Cup, featuring Alpha GPC; Lean Cup, which includes green coffee bean extract; Think Cup, featuring American ginseng; and Relax Cup, which includes L-theanine. An organic varietal without nutraceuticals, Nude Cup, also is available. A bottle of the RTD coffee retails for $3.69.
