Starbucks Coffee Co., Seattle, announced the launch of the next generation of its Verismo System by Starbucks: The Verismo V Brewer. The new single-cup brewing system offers a sleek design, enhanced features, and expanded coffee and espresso pod variety, allowing consumers to craft Starbucks brewed coffee, espresso and caffé lattes consistently and conveniently, the company says.
The new Verismo V Brewer features the ability to brew a 10-ounce cup of coffee, a hot water button, heating in less than 15 seconds, a drip tray that adjusts to various mug sizes and quiet operation, it adds.
The new Verismo Milk Frother makes it possible to craft Starbucks beverages with hot or cold frothed milk for a Starbucks experience at home, it says. The frother is designed to fit compactly on a kitchen counter, quietly froth any type of milk and make cleaning easy with a non-stick coating and dishwasher-safe parts, it adds.
Additionally, more varieties of Verismo pods are available, the company says. Available in select Starbucks stores and online at verismo.com, pods are available in brewed and espresso varieties as well as limited-time flavors. Verismo pods retail between $9.95 and $12.95
