Four Pillars, an Australian craft distillery, introduced two expressions from its portfolio in the United States. Four Pillars Rare Dry and Navy Strength gins now are available in New York and California. Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin is juniper-forward with a nuance from indigenous Australian botanicals, including lemon myrtle, Tasmanian pepperberry leaf and oranges, the company says. At 41.8 percent alcohol by volume, the Rare Dry expression is packaged in 750-ml bottles that retail for $38. Four Pillars Navy Strength Gin is a 58.8 percent alcohol-by-volume spirit that uses native Australian finger limes as well as fresh ginger and turmeric, it adds. The Navy Strength expression is packaged in 750-ml bottles that have a suggested retail price of $48.
