Blackeye Roasting Co. debuted its new Nitro Cold and Signature Cold Brew coffee in 12-ounce cans, which are available at SuperAmerica, participating Whole Foods Markets and other retailers in Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin. Both cold-brews are low in calories and free of dairy and sugar, the company says. The Blackeye Signature Cold Brew has a crispy and slightly sweet taste, while the Nitro Cold Brew is made to be shaken before drinking and has a smoother, velvety taste than traditional cold brew, it adds. The ready-to-drink cold-brew coffees retail for $3 for a single can.
