La Birra di Capri now is offering its self-titled Italian luxury craft beer in select markets across the United States. Often called the wine drinker’s beer, Birra Capri is soft, light and refreshing, the company says. The craft beer offers a light aroma with hints of fruit on the nose and creamy, malty flavors of apples plums and honeycomb on the tongue. The beer is available in 330- and 750-ml glass bottles for a suggested retail price of $9.49and $16.99, respectfully. A 1.5-liter bottle also is available for a suggested retail price of $28.99. Birra Capri now is available in Los Angeles; Chicago; Orange County, Calif.; and will be launching in Florida, Hawaii, Minnesota, Nevada, Tennessee and Texas throughout the new year distributed by Cosa Mesa, Calif.-based Airway Imports LLC.
