Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. will launch Otra Vez, a gose-style ale that will join the brewery’s year-round lineup in January. Otra Vez means “another time” in Spanish, and for Sierra Nevada that time is early California when beers were made from local ingredients, it says. The craft beer combines the prickly pear cactus and grapefruit fills, which together offers a fruity-tangy blend that give Otra Vez a tartness that is true to the gose style, it adds. The 4.5 percent alcohol by volume sessionable will be available throughout Sierra Nevada’s nationwide distribution in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles for a suggested retail price between $8.99 and $9.99, 12-packs of 12-ounce cans that will retail between $16.99 and $17.99, and on draft.
