Clearly the readers of Beverage Industry are fans of kombucha as Clearly Kombucha won the August New Product of the Month poll. The organic beverage obtained 21 percent of the votes. Voting took place between Sept. 8 and 18.

A brand of Top Shelf Beverage Inc., Clearly Kombucha is made with 100 percent raw kombucha and is certified gluten-free and Non-GMO Project Verified. The organic kombucha teas are available in seven flavors: Raspberry Lemonade, Asian Pear, Raspberry Ginger, Original Tangerine, Black Currant, Strawberry Hibiscus and Chai Cola. 

The readers also found favor with Rumble protein drinks. The all-natural protein shakes, available in Vanilla Maple, Dutch Cocoa and Coffee Bean varieties, garnered 19 percent of the vote.

Also currying favor were Afrohead Rum and Sonoma Cider’s The Crowbar and Dry Zinder, which tied for third at 13 percent of the vote.

Mansi calamansi juice rounded out the Top 5 with 11 percent of the vote.

This month’s poll results contained a nice balance of better-for-you beverages as well as premium alcohol beverages.
