Steven Smith Teamaker, in partnership with Tyler Malek of Salt & Straw, unveiled Cream Oolong, which blends buttery-tasting cream oolong tea from the Nantou region in Taiwan with flakes of house-made candied sugar, Madagasar vanilla bean, Marcona almonds, white jasmine blossoms from China, Indian sarsaparilla root and Oregon sea salt. The tea, first in the Maker’s Series and available in a signed, limited edition of 200 string-tie cartons, is available online and in select markets for a suggested retail price of $15.00 for a box of 15 full leaf sachets.
