Keurig Green Mountain Inc., Waterbury, Vt., and Dr. Pepper Snapple Group (DPS), with headquarters in Plano, Texas, announced an agreement to develop DPS-branded products for the upcoming Keurig Cold at-home beverage system.
“With Keurig Cold, we’ve leveraged Keurig innovation to make it possible for consumers to create great-tasting cold beverages at home with the one-touch simplicity of Keurig,” said Lori Tauber Marcus, Keurig’s chief product officer for Keurig Cold Systems, in a statement. “We’re very excited to offer a range of Dr Pepper Snapple’s iconic brands in the system at launch.”
As a part of this new multi-year agreement, Keurig will be the exclusive producer of single-serve, pod-based carbonated DPS-branded products utilizing fountain syrup for the Keurig Cold platform in the United States and Canada.
Scheduled to launch in the fall of 2015, Keurig Cold will enable consumers to craft cold beverages, including carbonated soft drinks, enhanced waters, juice drinks, sports drinks and teas at home. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
