Arla Foods Ingredients launched a new ingredient concept that is designed to make it easy to produce delicious, healthy, convenient and environmentally friendly Greek-style yogurt smoothies that are rich in protein and real fruit, it says. Nutrilac YO-8075 is a natural whey protein derived from cow’s milk. It gives manufacturers the ability to use their existing equipment to formulate a fat-free smoothie that consists of 50 percent Greek yogurt and 50 percent fruit with a protein content as high as 7.5 percent, the company explains. The protein can be combined with fruit or vegetable ingredients.
