Sprite, a brand of Atlanta-based The Coca-Cola Co., is bringing back its limited-edition Sprite Cranberry and Sprite Cranberry Zero holiday beverages in response to consumer requests. Both beverages will become available in late September and remain on shelves through the end of the year.
Sprite Cranberry and Sprite Cranberry Zero made its debut last year for a limited time. The beverages blend traditional Sprite with sweet and tart cranberry flavors, the company says.
“We listened to our fans and their desire to add cranberry flavor to Sprite,” said Kimberly Paige, associate vice president of Sprite brands at Coca-Cola North America, in a statement. “That led to the 2013 launch of Sprite Cranberry — our first flavor innovation since 2005. Once again, we’re rolling out the popular, crisp, clear, berry-flavored taste in time for those special holiday celebrations.”
Sprite Cranberry and Sprite Cranberry Zero will be available in fridge packs of 12-ounce cans and 2-liter bottles in supermarkets, mass merchandisers, convenience stores and drug stores nationwide. Sprite Cranberry also will be available in 20-ounce bottles in these channels. For more information, visit www.sprite.com and www.facebook.com/sprite.
