In celebration of its 18th anniversary, Stone Brewing Co. launched its Stone Anniversary IPA. The beer is a dry-hopped imperial IPA that features El Dorado hops in addition to five other hop varieties. However, the El Dorado hops stand out and add herbal, lemongrass, tropical fruit and lemon candy flavors to the beer, the company says. The beer also features malted barley, which contributes subtle cocoa, coffee and roast flavors, it adds. The ale is available in 22-ounce bottles and on draft at retailers, restaurants and bars in select markets nationwide. It contains 8.5 percent alcohol by volume and 75 International Bitterness Units.
