Chicago-based Argo Tea is celebrating the start of summer, National Iced Tea Month and the 110th birthday of iced tea in America with a new unsweetened iced tea line that includes Hibiscus Apple herbal tea, Green Tea Strawberry, and Ginger Peach black tea. Each flavor combination will be available in Argo Tea cafes throughout the country in June, in participating retail stores starting July 1, and online at www.argotea.com later this summer.
"Argo Tea is reinventing the way the world enjoys tea," said Argo Tea Founder and Chief Executive Officer Arsen Avakian in a statement. "Our new unsweetened iced tea line offers innovative flavors; premium, all-natural, quality loose-leaf tea; and zero calories. We strive to deliver the Argo experience one cup and one customer at a time by delighting both new and loyal tea fans everywhere."
Known for using a mixologist, a chef and a nutritionist to create its teas, Argo Tea serves 10 million cups of tea annually and operates 33 cafes in the United States and internationally. It also plans to open more than 15 new locations within the next year, it says. Argo Tea also is available in ready-to-drink bottles in more than 10,000 outlets, including Whole Foods Market, Sprouts, Fresh Market, 7-Eleven and Walgreens stores.
Its tea is all-natural and made from ingredients that are sourced from more than a dozen countries across the globe, the company says.
