Canton, Mass.-based Dunkin’ Donuts, part of the Dunkin’ Brands Group Inc. family of companies, has partnered with Arizona Beverages USA LLC, Woodbury, N.Y., and Arnold Palmer Enterprises, Cleveland, to introduce the new Frozen Arnold Palmer Coolatta. The half iced tea, half lemonade frozen beverage will be available at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants nationwide throughout the summer.
As part of its summer menu, Dunkin’ Donuts also is bringing back its Oreo Coolattas for the season. The Oreo cookie-based frozen drinks are available in Oreo Frozen Coffee and Oreo Vanilla Bean varieties.
The new Frozen Arnold Palmer Coolatta and returning Oreo Coolattas join other summer seasonal Coolatta flavors Watermelon and Blue Raspberry as well as year-round Coolatta mainstays Strawberry and Minute Maid Orange. The Coolatta menu also includes Dunkin’ Donuts’ Frozen Coffee Coolatta, Frozen Mocha Coffee Coolatta and Frozen Caramel Coffee Coolatta drinks.
“With the beginning of warm weather, our guests look forward to the introduction of new and unique Coolatta frozen beverage flavors to keep themselves refreshed no matter how hot the temperature,” said John Costello, president of global marketing and innovation at Dunkin’ Brands, in a statement. “This year is especially exciting as we’ve partnered with the Arizona Beverages and Arnold Palmer Enterprises to introduce the new Frozen Arnold Palmer Coolatta, featuring the classic combination of iced tea and lemonade as legendary as the man after which it’s named. Along with the return of Oreo Coolatta, our full variety of fruit and Frozen Coffee Coolatta flavors, and our special $1.99 offer for small Coolatta beverages in May, Dunkin’ Donuts is definitely the coolest place to beat the heat all spring and summer.”
