After originally introducing its Starbucks Refreshers brand in 2012, Starbucks Coffee Co. now has reformulated and repackaged the juice drinks. The carbonated, ready-to-drink beverages still contain real fruit juice, B vitamins, ginseng and green coffee extract, but has added sugar to optimize the taste profile, the company says. As a result, the beverages increased from 60 to 90 calories in each serving. The cans for the new Starbucks Refreshers feature updated graphics with sparkling bubbles and vibrant, two-tone hues, it adds. Along with these changes, the company added a new flavor to the line: Blueberry Acai. The new lineup now consists of Blueberry Acai, Strawberry Lemonade and Raspberry Pomegranate.
