Plano, Texas-based Dr Pepper Snapple Group’s Mott’s brand is expanding past its staple apple juice and apple sauce products with a new line of juice drinks.
Mott’s Fruit Punch Rush, Wild Grape Surge and Strawberry Boom juice drinks each contain 40 percent less sugar than regular fruit juices and no artificial sweeteners, the company says. They also offer 100 percent of the recommended daily value of vitamin C in each serving. The juice drinks’ flavor variety should appeal to children while their health aspects resonate with moms, the company says.
“Rush, Surge and Boom give kids another reason to enjoy Mott’s as they grow toward their teens,” said Meena Sen, director of marketing for Mott’s, in a statement. “Parents want drinks that help nurture their children’s potential to be their very best every day. As kids grow, they want more variety in their beverages, and these new juice drinks have the bold flavors that kids love and parents can feel good about.”
Mott’s Fruit Punch Rush, Wild Grape Surge and Strawberry Boom currently are available at select national retailers, with broad national availability expected by March. All flavors are available in 64-ounce multi-serve containers. In addition, Fruit Punch Rush and Wild Grape Surge are available in six-packs of 8-ounce bottles.
