DSM Nutritional Products released life’sOmega 60, a high-potency vegetarian DHA and EPA omega-3 oil developed from a sustainable algal source. The new product contains the highest concentration of EPA and DHA available in a vegetarian product
and provides the same benefits as krill and fish oil but from a vegetarian source, the company says. This source appeals to a broad consumer base, providing manufacturers the opportunity to differentiate their products on the shelf, it adds. Life’sOmega 60 provides all the benefits of life’sDHA with additional EPA.
