Vermont Hard Cider Co. LLC introduced the first hard cider in its Woodchuck Cellar Series: Dry Hop. The dry hop technique, by which the fermented cider is strained through a tank of fresh, whole-cone Cascade hops, infuses the cider with citrus and pine notes, the company says. Woodchuck Cellar Series Dry Hop contains 6.9 percent alcohol by volume and will be available through the end of this month. The suggested retail price for a 22-ounce bottle is $4.99. The Cellar Series of hard ciders will be pasteurized and will rotate styles every few months.
