In September, The Boston Beer Co. will launch Samuel Adams Tetravis, which is the company’s interpretation of a traditional Belgian Quadrupel. Part of the Samuel Adams Barrel Room Collection, the ale features molasses sweetness and notes of dark fruits, such as raisins and figs, with an undercurrent of tart spice and fruitiness from its Belgian yeast and from adding the barrel-aged ale Kosmic Mother Funk, the company says. Containing 10.2 percent alcohol by volume, Samuel Adams Tetravis will be available in 750-ml cork-finished bottles with a suggested retail price between $9.99 and $10.99.
