Mike’s Hard Lemonade Co. took its first step into the beer category by introducing Mike’s Authentic Shandy Hard Lemonade & Lager. With 4.2 percent alcohol by volume, the beer mixes Mike’s Hard Lemonade with a golden lager for a seasonal beverage experience. A six-pack of 11.2-ounce bottles retails for approximately $8.99, and a 12-pack of cans has a suggested retail price of $14.99. The company also entered the hard cider market with its new Smashed Apple Cider. The natural cider is traditionally fermented with Washington apples and comes in two varieties: Crisp Apple and Classic Dry. Both varieties are available in a six-pack of amber bottles for $8.99. Crisp Apple also is available in a 16-ounce can in convenience stores for $1.79. Additionally, the company launched a line of frozen drinks in single-serve, 10-ounce pouches. The line is available in Mike’s Hard Lemonade Frozen, Mike’s Hard Black Cherry Lemonade Frozen, Mike’s Hard Classic Margarita Frozen and Mike’s Hard Strawberry Lemonade Frozen varieties for approximately $1.99 each. Lastly, the company released its spring seasonal beverage, Mike’s Hard Blood Orange, which is available through mid-summer. The previous spring seasonal, Mike’s Hard Strawberry Lemonade, now is available year-round in bottles, cans and frozen pouches, as well as in the Mike’s Harder line.
