Made in Australia from a blend of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and other red varietals, and imported in the United States by W.J. Deutsch & Sons Ltd., Yellow Tail Sweet Red Roo features fruit flavors as well as red berry, vanilla and chocolate chip aromas, the company says. Its name was selected through a Facebook competition in which consumers suggested names for the new wine and then voted for their favorites. The wine will be available in 750-ml. and 1.5-liter sizes in March. Yellow Tail Sweet Red Roo bottles will feature a red prismatic label; a 750-ml. bottle will retail for about $6.99, and a 1.5-liter bottle will retail for about $11.99.
