Flavorchem Corp. introduced a line of flavor masking agents. Flavorchem’s highly stable masking flavors allow formulators the freedom to use functional ingredients at the usage rates they desire without the associated off notes, the company says. Using a flavor that is specifically developed to mask an off-flavor will allow manufacturers to avoid limiting functional ingredients that might present undesirable flavor, the company adds. The new line of flavor masking agents was introduced at SupplySide West.
