Organizers of the Americas Food & Beverage Show in Miami say they expect record attendance at this year's show, including 6,000 international buyers, wholesalers, distributors and importers.

“Food and beverage companies and international businesses are beginning to see an increase in sales internationally. Our event is specifically designed for small to mid-sized businesses, and to see so many medium-size enterprises from around the globe eager to showcase their products is, in my opinion, the sign of an economic upswing,” said Charlotte Gallogly, president, World Trade Center Miami.

The show, to be held Nov. 9-10, will offer a newly added Algerian Pavilion with 11 companies showcasing products for export. Also, for the first time, Poland will exhibit native “ready-for-export” food and beverage products. Both countries are looking to enter markets in the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean.
