Heaven Hill Distilleries Inc. announced the September release of the fourth edition of its Parker’s Heritage Collection, an annual series of limited-edition aged American whiskeys. This year’s release is a cask-strength, non-chill filtered wheated bourbon. The release uses Kentucky winter wheat instead of rye for a less spicy, rounder bourbon, the company says. This is the fourth release in its series that pays tribute to sixth generation Master Distiller Parker Beam. Approximately 4,800 bottles of the bourbon will be released in the United States and through limited international distribution in 750-ml. bottles for $79.99.
