CytoSport Inc. added Protein H2O to its line of protein-enhanced beverages. Protein H2O is available in Orange, Raspberry, Grape and Grapefruit flavors and contains 60 calories. The product is formulated with electrolytes, 10 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber. Protein H2O is suited for post-workout recovery or as a hydrating protein source, the company says. The product initially launched in GNC stores, and the company plans to expand its availability to additional outlets, such as Costco, the company says.
