Cruzan Rum, a brand of Beam Global Spirits & Wine, announced the addition of Cruzan 9, a new spiced rum, to its rum portfolio. Cruzan 9 has a bold flavor and contains a blend of nine all-natural spices: vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, mace, allspice, pepper and juniper berry. The recipe was handcrafted by the Nelthropp family, which has been making rum on the island of St. Croix for eight generations, the company says. Cruzan 9 rum will be available in August for $15.99 for a 750-ml. bottle.
