Sweden’s Gripsholm Distillery has made its Kanon Organic Vodka available to the U.S. market. Kanon Organic Vodka is distilled from locally grown organic wheat and uses a unique organic distillation process. The distillery has been producing organic vodka for more than 400 years and is the only European Union and U.S. certified organic distillery in Sweden, the company says. Kanon’s packaging is made from more than 60 percent recycled glass, and its distillery runs on wind and water power, the company says. The product is currently available in New York City and is planned for an expansion to Los Angeles early next year.
