Pernod Ricard’s Beefeater brand released Beefeater Summer Edition Gin. The limited-edition gin has a lighter flavor that was designed to reflect the more relaxed style of summer drinking, the company says. Beefeater Summer Edition Gin was created with the nine natural botanicals used for Beefeater London Dry Gin with the addition of elderflower, black currant and hibiscus. The gin is 40 percent alcohol by volume compared to Beefeater’s standard 47 percent content, the company says. The edition is available until the end of summer in 750-ml. size bottles for a suggested retail price of $19.99.
