Inko’s LLC launched two new flavors of white teas, Inko’s Poppin’ Punch and Bumpin’ Berry. The company developed the teas with feedback from school-age children regarding the flavors, it says. Poppin’ Punch and Bumpin’ Berry also were selected as fun names and the teas are packaged in kid-preferred grab-and-go capped 12-ounce bottles. Both varieties have been approved by New York City’s Department of Education for sale in school vending machines, the company says. Under the city’s guidelines, beverages sold in schools must not contain any artificial flavors, colors and sweeteners and have a maximum of 25 calories in each 8-ounce serving. Inko’s Poppin’ Punch and Bumpin’ Berry are available nationwide in 12-ounce bottles for $1.25.
