Glaceau, a division of The Coca-Cola Co., released its Vitaminwater Zero range. The line is sweetened with Truvia, a stevia leaf extract, and includes the brand’s signature range of vitamins and nutrients. The brand debuted on Fox’s “American Idol” television show last week, replacing the Coca-Cola glasses in front of the judges. The show’s newest judge, television personality Ellen Degeneres, also will appear in national advertising for the brand. Vitaminwater Zero has zero calories per 8-ounce serving and is available in seven flavors: XXX (Acai-Blueberry-Pomegranate), Squeezed (Lemonade), Rise (Orange), Mega-C (Grape-Raspberry), Go-Go (Mixed Berry), Recoup (Peach-Mandarin) and Revitalize (Green Tea). The line will be available in 20-ounce bottles next month for a suggested retail price of $1.49 for an individual bottle. In addition, the products will be available in four-packs of 16-ounce bottles for a suggested retail price of $3.99 to $4.99.
