Stock ales typically are aged for long periods of time, heavily hopped, rich in malt, and have a higher alcohol by volume than other beers, according to Berghoff.
Berghoff’s oak-aged Stock Ale boasts 10 percent alcohol by volume and 80 international bittering units.
Berghoff recommends pairing its Stock Ale with fire-grilled steak and Stilton blue cheese.
Berghoff also offers eight other beers, including Oktoberfest, Germanic Pale Ale, Reppin’ Red ale, Sir Dunkle crispy dark lager, Dortwunder Lager, Winter Ale, Straight Up Hefeweizen, and Solstice Wit (not pictured). This display includes the craft beer brands’ old and new label designs.
