Ingredients companies are bringing their natural, sustainably sourced tea and coffee solutions to Europe, and with sustainability top of mind, Chr. Hansen ranked No. 2 on a Global 100 sustainability list. 

Cott Corp., Tampa, Fla., continues its transition into a pure-play water solutions provider with its announcement that it has entered into a definitive agreement pursuant to which Cott will sell S&D Coffee and Tea to Westrock Coffee Co. LLC for $405 million on a debt free and cash free basis, subject to a customary working capital adjustment, it says.

Since the time coffee was introduced to North America during the Colonial period, it has continued to climb in popularity, according to the National Coffee Association.

Although many people might not enjoy cold weather — especially as many parts of the country have faced multiple rounds of cold temperatures and snow this winter — data are showing that consumers do enjoy cold coffee.
