Nestlé Pure Life Purified Water, a brand of Nestlé Waters North America, Stamford, Conn., introduced Nestlé Pure Life Fruity Water, a new, flavored water collection.
Straws have had quite a moment in the spotlight recently. Many of us have stumbled across an article (or two) mentioning restaurants that no longer provide plastic straws. There has even been coverage of various states that have banned them. This newfound approach to sustainability is paving the way for the new accessory of the year – reusable straws.
Last year, market research firm The Freedonia Group Inc. reported that Americans used about 390 million plastic straws every day. That is enough straws to circle the earth 2.5 times, it says.

To further complement its commitment to eliminate single-use, nonbiodegradable straws and stirrers from the beverage business, New York-based Pernod Ricard USA is collaborating with New York-based LOLIWARE and its co-founders Chelsea Briganti and Leigh Ann Tucker to reimagine the cocktail consumption experience through the use of the recently launched LOLISTRAW, a hypercompostable fully edible straw.
Los Angeles-based Fiji Water Co., part of the Roll Global LLC family of companies, will launch a custom, reusable straw for its bottled water in April.
